Scattered, acrylic colour and spray on canvas, 40x60cm, 2023.

We continuously adapt, inhabit, and shape spaces—seeking to align them as closely as possible with our needs. These transformations emerge through everyday spatial tactics. By placing, shifting, and arranging objects, we construct invisible diagrams.

Rather than depicting the objects themselves, I trace the shadows they cast. These shadows overlap and intertwine, forming abstract, layered landscapes. As they evolve, they gradually lose their connection to the original, familiar objects, becoming increasingly foreign. It is a reverse process of domestication—or perhaps an attempt at it that never quite succeeds.
