Part III
By becoming aware, observing and evaluating, a foreign becomes homely. First impressions settle into the nooks and crannies of the unknown. Spaces get mixed. The physical meets the mental, which turns into the virtual, which again turns into the physical. They are transient and fluid, constantly moving somewhere in intermediate space.
darling the roof is leaking has one starting point that dictates every next step. It casts shadows that become plans for their own architecture, which communicates with architecture of gallery space. On one hand, it fills it, like the furniture fills a home, on the other, it reminds of its own independence and its gaps, inviting the viewer to settle his own experiences into it.
