Janja Kosi

The illustrations were created as part of a drawing challenge that takes place every October on social media. At the beginning of the month, a list of prompts is published — one for each day — resulting in a series of 31 drawings by the end of the month. This year, I took part in @peachtober. Such challenges are a great exercise and an opportunity to explore and improve one’s drawing skills.

While working on the challenge, I didn’t set many limits for myself, apart from a restricted colour palette that gave the series a cohesive look. All the illustrations feature animals. Each drawing offers a glimpse into a moment from their lives — small scenes in which the characters face various little adventures within their own peculiar worlds. Illustration are made digitaly.
