Poetry on city streets
The Poetry in the Streets project has been taking place on the streets of Maribor since 2009, produced by MKC Maribor under the MKC Črka program. It is an original project by Nina Flisar, with the first rendition carried out in 2008 by the ZULK Association.
Each autumn, selected contemporary Slovenian poetry can be read on large-format posters displayed throughout Maribor’s streets. In recent years, the poems have also been accompanied by original illustrations created by selected illustrators.
