This project was an answer to the problematic of the disappearance of old trees in my hometown. There were quite a lot of old, sick and sleet damaged trees around the city which had to be cut down. But instead of planting new trees all that remained is void.  The municipality didn’t see planting trees as a number one priority. 

I went through the city once again and collected all the location for which I remembered that used to have a tree. With cutting the shapes of them into photographs, I made the void visible.
